The fast lane is familiar territory to Judith.  Returning to London from New York to put the once successful company, Premier Publicity, back in the spotlight, the challenge of a dazzling new world stretches invitingly before her. 

But soon she learns the truth. 
Her boss wants an attractive workhorse, and not – as he had promised - a partner in the company.

Her ex-lover, is still obsessed with her and won't give up,  while his infuriatingly enigmatic legal advisor, dismisses her as just a rich man’s mistress.   Only the charming American  entrepreneur who becomes one of her clients seems to understand her.
